🚐 How the Journey Works
- Costa Rica Minivan: Pick-up in Manzanillo and direct transport to the Sixaola border crossing.
- Panama Minivan: Once you cross into Panama, our second minivan takes you to the Almirante port.
- The Boat: A quick and scenic water taxi ride from the mainland dropping you off in the heart of Bocas Town (Isla Colón).
⚠️ Important Border Info
- Onward Ticket: Panamanian immigration strictly requires printed proof of a flight or bus ticket exiting Panama. Do not cross without it!
- Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months.
- Border Fees: Costa Rica exit taxes and any Panama entry fees must be paid directly by the passenger in cash (small US dollar bills recommended).
Note: We provide all transportation to and from the border checkpoints. Passengers are strictly responsible for completing their own immigration and customs procedures on foot.
